INFORMATION USED TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE
Teacher Teahouse uses limited information to provide educator accounts and website features.
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
Students may join a teacher-controlled activity without an account using a temporary learner number. We store the activity snapshot, temporary participant identifiers and item responses to show the teacher classroom results. No student name, email or audio recording is requested. A short-lived essential cookie reconnects a browser to its activity. Joining and student access expire after four hours. Results become inaccessible after seven days and are purged on subsequent classroom-service traffic, or earlier when the teacher deletes the classroom. Infrastructure logs and backups follow provider retention; do not submit sensitive information.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to create and protect accounts, save teaching materials, provide support, prevent misuse, and improve the reliability and usability of the website. We do not sell educators' personal information.
STORAGE AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
We may use hosting, authentication, database, and security service providers to operate the website. These providers may process information only as needed to perform the relevant services.
RETENTION, SECURITY AND DELETION
Account information and saved content are generally retained while needed to provide the service or until you request deletion. We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account.
